Five things to check
- Issuer and card type: credit, debit, co-branded and EMI transactions may have different eligibility.
- Minimum order value: your basket may need to cross a threshold after other discounts.
- Maximum discount: a percentage discount may have a cap.
- Exclusions: certain sellers, product categories or payment methods may not qualify.
- Final payable amount: verify the actual total on the checkout screen, including delivery or processing charges.
Bank discount versus exchange benefit
Calculate them separately. The advertised exchange value may depend on device inspection and eligibility, while bank promotions have their own conditions. Do not add headline savings unless all of them apply to the same order.
